And we're back to Gregg! Slightly older but he's still only talking about airplanes. Most of the time. Poor Elsa...
Here's something I'd like to inform you about! This summer vacation I spent a lot of time fine tuning my scriptand analyzing the Chapter 2 pages. For those who don't know, I inked Chapter 2 before Chapter 1; since Chapter 1 is a recently overhauled version of the old beginning of the comic. Sooo...it's been a while since Itouched Chapter 2.
No pages of Chapter 2 had been colored yet, so if I wanted to change anything, I knew now would be a great time. I ended up removing and adding alotof pages in the script to make the storytellingbetter.I amgladI decided to take time to do this instead of just jumping straight to colors. Butinstead of having a chapter ahead of me to *just* color, I now have a bunch of new pages to draw from scratch here and there. I think it's going to be worth it, but the difficult part will be to merge new pages with the old ones. I'll do my best! Feel free tolet me know if you see anything that doesn't merge well between old and new pages.
I alsodecided to redraw the cover just recently! Haha! Now, that's something I have been considering for quite some time, though. :) The old cover was very Gregg-centric, and I wanted Elsa to be part of it too. You'll understand why later! Here's the old cover if you are curious:
(Yup, I saved bits and pieces of the cover too!)
That's about it! If you are confused about what I am talking about, you can read more about the production time frame in the info section. If that makes you even more confused (I don't blame you), don't hesitate to ask in the comment section! If you are super confused and too shy to comment, don't worry! Just keep reading - you won't notice much of this behind-the-scene things I am ranting about anyway. :) I just love to write about my process, that's all!
See you next week! Don't forget to vote if you have a minute to spare.
